Manmade mono vexation

Back blip.

My secondary school thought that we should all wear shirts, ties and blazers etc as this would prepare us for the work place. Since leaving school and passing through University and all the jobs to where I am now, I think I've worn a tie for work only four or five times, and that includes job interviews...

However as formal events like births, weddings and funerals go, formal or semi formal seems to remain in. For my dad's funeral I had my best shirt on and it requires cufflinks, and as I was so ill today and didn't leave my sick bed (much), the only thing I could think of blipping is these cufflinks which haven't yet gone back to their home.
