Sea anemone
Today we went for a guided walk at low tide. The guide was a nice chap and I was just about able to keep up with the gist of what he was saying, having done a biology degree makes it a bit easier...
All the pictures bar the fort are what we found lurking on the exposed sea bed.
The main picture is a small sea anemone, about 10 mm across. The extras consist of a small fish (good to eat when bigger), some crabs, a lobster, a hermit crab, and a collection of eggs under a rock.
As we went round everything was put back where we found it, so no harm done I hope.,
