What a difference

a day makes.......blooming freezing today, compared to the last few days, definitey not a day to jetwash the patio thats for sure!

Slept well, woke at 6.30, then lay awake for an hour or so but must have dozed off again, 9.20 when I woke, but what the hell, nothing pressing, no need to rush around.

One of our neighbours knocked on to see if we needed anything as he was popping out, milk and cheese left on our doorstep half an hour later. Daughter has a grocery delivery slot tomorrow, she has added a few things on for us, only things we are running low on :-)

Just a coffee in the not so "summerhouse" today.......after lunch hub went outside to paint the loveseat under the arbour, I pegged out some washing, then got on with some food prep & cooking things for the freezer. Best to use up the fresh produce before it starts to go off, can't be doing with waste!!! So here you have home made chicken & sweetcorn soup, Italian meatballs in tomato sauce and a cottage pie, yes, looks a bit incipide, not been browned in the oven yet ;-)

Later we had a 'house party' catch up with daughter, the two youngest granddaughters, son & DiL this afternoon... lovely to see all their faces :-)

Dinner tonight was smoked mackerel, sald & fries for hub, begetable tagine & couscous for me. You can imagine how the house smells right now lol, and no doubt tomorrow morning too!!

Just a out to watch the reruns of The Voice, should be entertaining :-)
