Sunday shadows
Not the best night, hub settled ok after the stress and effort of getting upstairs etc. but i was on high alert for a couple of hours! Eventually got off some time after 1, which was really 2 of course, so no wonder it was almost 10 when we surfaced properly.
Hub put the cricket on, whilst I sorted breakfast, then I got myself ready, before helping hub, he wanted a shower....which really takes it out of him :-/ we manage between us.
By the time we were downstairs it was midday....so elevenses became twelveses today! still tasted as good as ever.....daughter wanted a window chat today, but the weather hasnt been great, so we asked her to meet us on the car park instead.....so we were able to have a nice catch up after all. Hub & I had a bacon roll with our coffees for lunch. As daughter left us I went for a very quick walk.
Todays blip was taken en route, it was the dancing shadows that initially caught my eye.
Once back at the car, hub said he wasnt ready to go back home, so we took a leisurely drive past the pub where we used to go with our friends for our Thursday quiz night, eventually got home at 3.30pm Our neighbour knocked on shortly after with a couple of packages that he had taken delivery of for us.
The cricket was soon back on tv, hub said all along that England would miss out by a couple of runs, how right he was :-/!!! He didn't fancy a full blown Sunday meal, we plumped for steak burger in a seeded toasted bun with cheese and salad....we really enjoyed them too!
Once the cricket was over it was football, England v Albania....but I had to go out for another walk to get my steps in, another just made it kind of total, but no sooner had I left, than it started to rain! Unbelievably that is only the second time in the whole month that I have got wet whilst doing my walking challenge! Just 3 days to go........link below if you could see your way to make a donation it would be very much appreciated, thank you :-) Raised £1500 so far :-D

I was rather wet when I got back, but I dont mind walking in the rain, my yellow coat is waterproof and warm :-) Watched the end of the footy, England won.
We've caught up with a couple of programmes we recorded, Gogglebox and Gardeners World and are now watching more footy, Englands U21s, a must win game v Portugal!!
Well tonight seemed darker than of late to be honest, with the heavy rain laden skies, hopefully warmer and sunnier tomorrow and Tuesday, fibgers crossed!
Have a good and safe new week.......!
