..... Smiling!
I was slightly down this morning, got up and dusted myself down, showered dressed . After a few minor chores , texts and phone calls all was well with the world ( as much as it can be at the moment) . Daughter K rang and said St John's Shirley were doing morning prayer and including music at 12 midday. I'm so glad I knew, it was lovely 2 beautiful hymns to which I sang loudly, made such a difference to my day. Then this afternoon KJD ,O and the Rev came sat outside with their own drink ( fancy having to bring your own when visiting ???) better safe than sorry, makes for Silly Saturday I suppose?
As before K bought me rations ... Some yummy Soda bread O made yesterday , 1 Sausage Roll and 1 Hot Cross Bun with instructions to put it in the freezer in case she couldn't get any more ( she knows I like H/C buns on Good Friday. They think of everything bless them.
Blip shows 8am sun . Fading roses from M/S'day bouquet & the 3 amigos AKA my Rev family. It was a short distance visit , but good to see human faces , latter I had a phone call from daughter C , finding things tough going, the girls have ( like everyone ) cabin fever, restriction is hard for us all to comprehend, there's always been freedom for most people ( unless you're over the hill in age , ie War time.)It's so frustrating for them all. Good news about my G/D ( who's usually in Bristol uni) the exam she did a few days ago , has resulted in a 2.1 grade , but hard to celebrate at the mo for any student.
Yesterday I had a face time with family " up north" in the morning then in the evening from K down here. So really my isolation is not too bad , would just love to drive out for a short while , apparently that's not allowed . So guess we're all tested patience wise. Still some don't care and flout the guide lines given for ours and others protection.
The weather has turned very windy and cold now, but do hope you've all managed a good Saturday folks!
Official summer time begins so don't forget to put your clock forward . After all you don't want to be a hour early for work / church do you!! Lol!
