Translucent

I’m hard pressed to say whether these tulips - in a tub and second year of flowering - are early or not. Looking back at photos last year new bulbs ( of a different variety) were in bloom a few days from now.

In any event, they came into flower yesterday and in the morning sunshine, which sadly did not last, brought a lovely burst of colour.

Up very early but in the house all day. Still managed over 10,000 steps hoovering, cleaning the floors and taking things back up to the attic now access is no longer needed by tradesmen.

Rediscovered the fun of vacuum pack bags and watching duvets and pillow cases becoming compressed.. Oh, the little things these days that give pleasure!
