Budding blossom

A cool start, so we left our daily exercise until the afternoon, to give it chance to warm up a bit. We went walking at Winton  woods, which we hadn’t been to for a while. The most cheery thing I found on this grey day was this beautiful unfurling blossom. When I’m not exercising on these “stay at home days”, I fill my time with reading, knitting, playing the piano and learning Italian on Duolingo, as well as what has become the daily call from Laura in Kuwait, where she is finding the lockdown situation, and now curfew from 5 pm to 4 am, very taxing as a single person.
