which way next

Today was a bit too cold for the garden so we decided on a walk from home with the challenge to find a new route. We are lucky to have a lot of public footpaths in all directions to follow from the house, we did find a few we hadn't used before. Lesley couldn't decide at this point.
Part of the walk was alongside the Ecclesbourne which we haven't walked for a couple of years or more. We saw a dipper on exactly the same rock as when I used to go to watch him. I had forgotten about him but will be back again now, with a longer lens, although its not an easy spot to get a good position.
