Pigeon Aloft

Our walks around the property today weren't half as enjoyable as of late. The north wind was laden with sleet at times and the sun was largely hidden behind banks of grey clouds. We stood by the lake and watched a large flock of wood pigeons being buffeted by the stiff breeze. I guess they were attracted by the fact that farmer sowed the field to the east yesterday. I quite like the silhouette of this one. It sort of reminds me of Pentecostal representations of the Holy Spirit. I thought about up-ending the image.
