Decorating the nursery

Daughter #2 who lives in Tugun , Gold Coast, Australia is expecting her 1st baby in 6 weeks and of course, we are unable to travel to Australia just now and so I've got 3 parcels sitting on the deck for the mail lady to collect tomorrow...merino knitting, baby blankets and the book I blipped a few days ago. My daughter works in the film industry in construction crew and is normally welding a hammer , but these last few months has been running the cafeteria ...a protection from heavy lifting...and now , of course, is at home , now that the sets are closed down .
She is making a mobile for the nursery. It is made from pieces of driftwood that she's gathered from the beautiful surf beach at the end of their street and she is decorating it  with  poker work. She also turns out beautiful leather work and you can spot some of that in the these images.
A very good report from her doc today which is great news as the Tasman feels ever wider.
