Balcony solution, short term

Beginning of week two of effective lockdown and the balcony door has failed almost a year after it was fixed although to be fair we were told it was not a permanent solution. I think in due course we will need to do a sustainable fix which may well involve a complete replacement. The doors do still open and if we can tolerate the way they close 95 percent then we should be Ok as long as there are no gales or very cold weather both of which are unlikely in the next six months which is how long this is likely to continue.
Should this not work out I demonstrated an alternative exit/egress using the kitchen window and steps.
