There's brave and there's stupid

Thought I'd brave Penyfan this morning, I knew conditions would be tough but that the views would be worth it. But this shot is as far as I got! Lol! By this time I'd already nearly landed on my backside twice, and there were further slips as I started the climb. Having had enough of broken bones last year, I thought it wise to turn around and head home.

I'm off to get some snow shoes this afternoon! Perhaps tomorrow I can give them a go.
