A splash of colour....

... in a shaft of sunlight, caught my attention on a rather chilly morning.

The robin was sitting on someone's  garden wall, sheltered by a short wooden roof overhang. Clearly knew its way around this spot.

It would have been nice to have got a bit nearer - but at least a blip was in the bag with few other photos to choose today.
