Bring me sunshine

In Morecambe. Took three trains from Newcastle (via Carlisle and Lancaster), aiming to meet up tomorrow with Gus and go and watch Crewe play against Morecambe. It is blowing a gale and (madly) I am also planning to run the local parkrun along the promenade when it will be even windier.

Eric Morecambe (real name: Eric Bartholomew) was one of my favourite comedians, so I have enjoyed roaming the town and taking some selfies with him. Had a drink in the local Wetherspoons (The Eric Bartholomew), and later had an excellent dinner in a bistro not far from the statue.
