Hard
The choice of living your life through zoom or it stopping isn't one Katie's finding a manageable choice today. There's been some big feelings.
We managed to take our walk in sunshine which was nice, after a mornings work. She had her bassoon lesson and really impressed B with how much she's achieving in a week at the moment. As B said, she's giving her g7 scales and Katie's gobbling them up. She's giving her g7 pieces, they're ready in a week. She's doing brilliantly. She was going to do G7 this coming term, and there's going to be arrangements from the exam board that would have made that possible, but we have pretty much decided to just move on and not bother. She had all new study, explore piece and the next section of her concerto. Despite that, she just looked sad for a lot of her lesson. Zoom is laggy and a time delay is really frustrating with a music lesson. Plus she very much wanted hugs from B "not stupid zoom again".
Consequently, zoom ballet class was not well received. She had two classes tonight. I suspect after a sleep she'll reflect back that she'd rather do them than not.
We had some lovely time together at bedtime - half an hour resurrecting a much loved duet book and snuggling for more than 2e anticipated
