Painting and Covid
Mr L used the paint left over from the living room to paint two walls in the dining room. I never did like the dark colour which we painted it a couple of years ago, it now looks a lot better and brighter for the small room.
I heard this evening that Sarah, partner of Liam (no. 3 son) appears to have the virus. Working for a company recruiting and managing care workers, she was definitely around people last week who had been caring for patients with Covid. She rang her doctor this morning who prescribed medicine in case it was a chest infection but also told her to call 111. She was on hold for 6 hours! They think she probably has the virus which she is to manage at home, but was given a direct dial number to call if she gets worse. They will also call daily. The silly thing is that Liam had to go to the chemist for the prescription. They have been together at home all weekend. It’s easy to see how that can spread so quickly. Fingers crossed she manages at home and the symptoms don’t get worse.
Now I have the dining table back I plan to do a full day on the pc, sorting and cataloguing the cancellations, and quite weirdly making a folder for the bookings enquiries I received today. Some schools are planning ahead for October! I emailed and said we’d be in touch when back, now to find somewhere to put them when not in the office! I also need to sort some social media material for K to use.
