A better day indoors

Today was a better day. I concentrated on the girls, they were happier so I was happier. We did have a few tantrums and B is still having lots of small accidents, but I think they enjoyed today.

We pretended to go to preschool. They put on their uniform and I pretended to be their key worker. I set up a tray with cornflour and water and they played with the gloop for a long time. It was messy but fun.

We did colouring and painting. We played with magnets and we watched Snow White. It was cold and so we didn't go out for exercise but instead we played with the fisher price robot thingy.

Much better day today and I have mostly shaken the dark cloud.

John's work has warned that some will be furloughed this week and some may be asked to take a pay cut. A bit of a worry but we expect they will furlough the back office staff and not the operations staff which includes him, although he would be safer at home.
