A painted pebble

All the frontline workers need praise from Doctors and Nurses to refuse collectors, post people, shop assistants and so the list goes on. without them all we would be in trouble. What are the government playing at there are companies ready to go into action producing the respirators and they are still pussy footing about. they should have been made and ready. I bet Boris and HRH have one of their own. I see HRH is up and out of his quarantine after 7 days, lucky him, no so lucky for hundreds of others.

I read this by an Indian Doctor and it made me really think.

Social distancing is a privilege, it means you live in a house large enough to practice it. Handwashing in a privilege too. It means you have access to running water. Hand sanitisers are a privilege. It means you have money to buy them. Lock-downs are privilege. It means you can afford to be at home. Most of the ways to ward the Corona off are accessible only to the affluent. In essence, a disease that was spread by the rich as they flew around the globe will now kill millions of the poor. All of us who are practising social distancing and have imposed a lock-down on ourselves must appreciate how privileged we are. Many Indians won't be able to do any of this.

Makes you feel humble doesn't it.

Night night peeps sleep tight. and when you wake up tomorrow remember we are one day nearer to the end of this disease.
