Cocooning

Our cat Shadow finding a new crazy location to sleep in. She’s been a bit unsettled having us all at home, at turns socialising with us, and then making herself scarce. Seeing all our eating is making her very hungry, hopefully we’ll have enough Seafood Sensations (the only thing she eats) to last the distance.

Today, we had two minute pho for lunch, with a delicious addition of grilled prawns, and lots of discussion about unreliable narrators (as might be deployed in Harry Potter riffs). Dinner, spicy black bean burritos and left over sago pudding. A real treat was the arrival of some delivery groceries with 10kg flour and lots of fruit & veg. Chipotle sauce - a lucky (unsolicited) request by my husband - was a very timely bonus.

Other highlights of the day - my daughter’s science experiment investigating the effects of dark chocolate on reaction time, a brief amble around the suburb after work (deserted), and a game of Century Golem.

TV - Brooklyn99 and hoping to catch the latest episode of Homeland - it’s Tuesday night :) - when the children go to bed.
