Thats a relief!

Late last night sitting at my laptop playing the usual mind numbing game as it chills me before going to bed, I got a text from no1 son "are you still up?" When one gets these questions from ones offspring they can only mean one thing!! there is some sort of issue to be resolved and having only just recovered from his car incident earlier in the week , I could already feel the beads of pespiration on my fevered brow as the mobile danced the wall of death on my desk! Hi I said in trepidation trying to keep my voice calm!
"guess whos going to be a daddy" Og dear lord, suddenly I am alert (yes the world does needs lerts!) , I feel my heart- beat quicken. Still trying to sound calm I throw a few names in his direction and all get a firm no. Finally I steal myself and ask (voice almost at a squek) "you" First I get laughter back down the phone and Im thinking he's gone hysterical but finally he says "no silly" and then rattles off a name of some obsqure cousin.
Well almost immediatley I feel my heart- beat slow down and the beads of sweat depart and I think Thank God!
I throw a few less than enthusiastic grunts in his direction hoping he clocks the sound of dissaproval in my voice at the situation with the said cousin and that he clicks onto what would face him if he were to land in the same situation. This is the same son that once hijacked my facebook page and said "we are going to be grandparents" and my phone went wild with people who ought to know better phoning me to congratulate me!
Kids who would have them
