Molecatching

I set out today with a view to starting my tracks and paths collection and hadtaken some possibles which I will put in Blipfolio in due course. However came across these mole skins hanging on the fence near Swanswater Fishery. Although I have seen this kind of array in the Lake District and elsewhere it is the first time I have come across it locally.
The moles that have been caught are hung up in this way presumably to prove that the molecatcher has done his job. does he get paid by the mole,I wonder?
