Quiet

This is the M1 motorway at 09.49 somewhere in the Midlands.

Travelled to Edinburgh today for my father-in-law’s funeral.
Very quiet roads. Lots of lorries but not many cars. Service stations were open but only for toilets and food stores and WHSmith. Everywhere else was shut. All eerily quiet.
The car parks were similarly empty.

The motorway overhead gantries telling people to stay home, save the nhs, essential travel only.

Sad, weird times.
