Dad

A sad day as we had a burial service for my dad-in-law in Edinburgh.
There were heartbreakingly only 7 family members at the graveside today. He was a much loved man and with no church service, this is far from what any of us would have envisaged his funeral to look like.

His grandchildren are scattered around the country and one is stuck in Milan. However, thanks to modern technology they were able to watch on Zoom.

However, in current circumstances, we were glad to be able to do what we did and we still rejoice that he is safe in heaven with Jesus.

He was laid to rest in the grave along with his wife. What a privilege to have known and loved them both.
