Clearing the Gravel
I spent time today clearing the gravel to start building my raised bed. The next step will probably be the worst bit, leveling the ground to ensure the base level is completely flat. I've now been vetted and approved as an NHS Volunteer Responder, so tomorrow I'll do my training and log on (providing I can find the bit of paper with my password on it!!!)
This made me smile: 'My cheeky cat just asked me if I wanted the radio left on whilst she goes out!"
Day 18 / Day 10 of Lockdown (for my record only)
UK deaths up 569 to 2,921 (there has been over 4,000 new cases for two days in a row after it had looked to be slowing, although this might be due to more testing), Italy up 760 to 13,915 and Spain up 950 to 10,003. Deaths in the US have now exceeded 5.000 (10M jobs lost over 2 weeks with 6.6M filing an unemployment claim in the last week). Worldwide deaths pass 50,000, with 1 million cases (doubling in less than 1 week).
