Swans a-nesting

Our daily exercise took us along the canal on our bikes.  The sun was out but there was quite a strong wind.  We passed 2 magnificent swans nests on the way, this one was very close to the path and we were worried about dogs and foxes being interested in the nest, but maybe they are confident about protecting it.
The extra is of a little knitted rainbow.
