Busy Blackie

I got a shot of Pheasy Boy on the front lawn his morning. We've heard a lot of him but it's the first time we've seen him for ages. Jack heron has returned to the lake, he's been missing for a while too.

Blackie was busy catching worms. I wonder if his eggs have hatched and if they're for his brood?
