We're a' Jock Tamson's bairns

Someone reminded me the other day of the expression "A month of Sundays". Very apt. I realised today that we were three days into a new month and we hadn't turned over any of the paper calendars.

The blip is the April page from one of Stewart Bremner's old calendars. Jock Tamson may have been John Thompson, the minister at Duddingston Kirk in the first half of the nineteenth century.
