hello again

We walked back down to the parish church tonight to see if the peregrine we saw yesterday was around, this time I was armed with the right lens. I am now pretty convinced that it is the juvenile that was chased away from the mill a few weeks back when the the new male adult arrived on the scene. I will need a few more photos of him to compare to the ones I got at the mill, then I can confirm or otherwise my theory.
This evening we continued our aim to follow public footpaths we haven't used before. This time we turned right at the river bank and followed the river down to Peckwash Mill on the opposite Bank. We both separately spotted a kingfisher flying down the centre of the river. We didn't have time to continue to see where this path came out so we will go back another day. We arrived home at 7:30pm having thought we would be back about 6:15pm.
