Looking down...
...to Wooler. Our walk took us through Humbleton and over to the Common by a short section of St Cuthbert's Way, down though the woods. Passed only a couple of dog walkers, at a distance, once we had left the town. So quiet, apart from birdsong, and in a small copse on the track up from Humbleton the birds were singing their hearts out. Wonderful! Feeling blessed that we can walk in to such lovely countryside from the flat.
Beside the road down from the Common, the daffs on the 'Marie Curie Cancer Care field of hope' are in flower - the extra shows a just short section, and does it little justice.
