Kjollefjord
Kjollefjord in Northern Norway was one of the ports of call on our last full day on MS Spitsbergen. This photograph shows the wooden frame used to dry cod, a very important part of the Norwegian diet. Later in the evening we were treated to a wonderful display of the northern lights but unfortunately, my tripod had broken so I don't have a photo to post here. Tomorrow we were due to disembark at Kirkenes for the next part of our adventure. I cannot recommend highly enough this sail up the coast of Norway on a Hurtigruten boat. It was a dream come true for me!
