Final hours at sea

This photograph shows the ice-cold sea as we crossed the mouth of Varanger Fjord from the port of Vadso to Kirkenes (see extra) where we were to disembark from MS Spitsbergen on the morning of Saturday 6th April 2019. Kirkenes in northern Norway is just 15km from the border with Russia.
