Alpine Black Squirrel

..... finding his stash of nuts in the woods above us today. I love these tiny, quick squirrels, they are so agile. Whilst watching him I noticed movement on the next tree trunk, a tree creeper was doing his morning ablutions, look carefully and you can see him or her (extra).

I escaped for a quick drive up the hill today, didn't get anywhere near anyone. It was so good to see the mountains close up again but I felt guilty doing it. I failed to catch the moon coming up.
