Svalbard
On Sunday 7th April 2019 the second, and more extreme, part of our adventure began when we flew from Tromso to Longyearbyen on Svalbard. At 78 degrees north this was the furthest north I had ever been. The weather was perfect and we had wonderful views of the snow-covered landscape as we came in to land.
The extra shows the town of Longyearbyen at ground level, with friends C and T enjoying the view. It was very different and so much more extreme than anything I had ever known before. And I would love to return one day.
