Doubtful Sound.

Took a trip into doubtful sound this weekend, I would say it's one of the most stunningly beautiful places on earth.

Huge thousand meter mountains surrounding these inlets from the sea.

the beginning of the sound,deep cove, is where the water is expelled from Manapouri hydro electric powerstation, you can witness the current rushing past the monitoring bouy as you begin your journey.
