Mad, Mad moonlight

The words of the song Mad, Mad, Moonlight by Cockney Rebel sprung to mind early this morning:
“It was just like a dream, jeah a surreal scene, like a blue orange.”
After all we are living in strange times, last night was a super moon and I had just opened a present containing a ticket for a Cockney Rebel concert in Glasgow at the end of February next year.
The last time I was at a Cockney Rebel concert was almost 45 years ago to the day and that was as joint birthday treat with the sender of this present and other friends. Let’s hope this madness is over by next February and we all stay safe and well so we can enjoy the concert.
Included with the ticket was some other more conventional items appropriate for the times: a face mask and 3 hand knitted Cotton cloths.
