Celebration

At 11am today members of our neighbourhood WhatsApp group gathered on the pavement and indeed street as we are no longer a rat run. The reason: to sing Happy Birthday to 2 young people in the street celebrating their 5th and 8th birthdays respectively.

The WhatsApp group had been created to help out those who need it: one family had been self isolating due to symptoms but fortunately on the mend now and with the due period completed were able to get out.

For a few minutes we did a slow motion dance around to chat and catch up keeping some 3m+ distance. ( that was our exercise for the day!). Then we retreaded back into output houses.

The day marks other events for friends and families, both happy and sad. So took a while to pause and remember.

The sun came out and so did the tulips.
