Another New Kettle.

We bought a new kettle some months ago.

A few weeks after we got it, the lid wouldn't open properly.


We persevered, mostly because we couldn't be bothered to take it back.

But then yesterday, the light stopped working on the switch.  Then my husband got a shock off it.  As it was still under warranty we decided to take it back,

So after the girls went home yesterday, off we went to the shop.  I considered it essential shopping, because I must have a cup of tea!!

I sat in the car, whilst my husband went in.  He was soon back.

'How to feel a complete idiot,' he said.

'Why,'

'It's the wrong shop.'  He hadn't looked at the receipt properly.  Luckily, the other shop was only a few doors down.

We got it replaced with a more expensive one, and we didn't have to pay any extra.

It rained a lot last night, good for our grass seed.  And today has been very overcast all day, with some more rain.

Ideal for staying inside.
