Farewell To A Prince.

We were watching an episode of Vera last night, when it was interrupted with the news, that Prince Philip had died.

Even though it was inevitable, it is still sad.

I've always loved all things royal, and his background always fascinated me.

He was connected to so many Royal Houses.

I often think people misunderstood his sense of humour.  And he was always very naughty to the Press.  (my husband photographed him a few times, and told me a some stories about him).

But he was a bit of a character and that will be sadly missed.

I think Prince Philip would be secretly pleased he missed his 100th birthday.  He would've hated the fuss.
