Not for us.  Another day on home ground; coming up to a month now. Still, the sun ventured cautiously out from behind the clouds, enough for a bit of sunlounging in the afternoon.

Thank you everyone for the comments, hearts and stars yesterday that prompted a rare appearance on Popular page 1. Blip is a sanity-saver; even on an uneventful day like today I am prompted to get up from my chair and look around for something to blip. It's been a long while since I added to my tendril series.

S cooked lunch, starting with a UFO (Unidentified Fishy Object) found in the freezer. It was a single fillet of some kind of white fish, so he bulked it out with a base of tomato fried with garlic and olive oil and the rest of the bag of spinach, then topped it with a cheese sauce. Very tasty. It was followed by yet more loquats braised with orange juice and Cointreau; this recipe is a winner. And this evening bacon and mushrooms in home-made muffins with a glass of non-alcoholic beer.
