This is a holiday weekend unlike anything any of us have ever known. Instead of a houseful of guests for Easter we are alone.
 
The world seems to get stranger every day: one church in America have introduced drive-through confessions, and vets are being recruited to boost the shortfall of NHS staff.
 
As for the lockdown experts are suggesting it could be six weeks with young people  let out first.
Those in the vulnerable category, like us, will be last.
 
Well, we are going to be doing an awful lot of gardening this summer and I am so glad I made that dash to the local gardening centre for 30 begonia tubers before the lockdown.
