Vrtual gardening

Every week I watch Monty Don on telly. His gardening tips always inspire me to go out and do more. Unfortunately this cold spell makes working outside distinctly unpleasant. So its more virtual grdening than getting my hands dirty. There are signs of life there though from the pond full of frogspawn to the bees amongst the hellebores, camellias.
 
As we edge out of lockdown though there is nervousness in the air. What does the future hold? a return to the office and life as pre Covid, continue working from home, or more worryingly will there be a job once furlough finishes? These are some of the worries I hear from friends still working.
 
 As for older people like ourselves we have  different sets of worries – catching up on all those missed medical appointments, physio sessions and keep fit classes not to mention the swimming and aqua aerobics .We have received an invitation to a wedding later in the year in the south of England Should we book a flight now or wait to see if the predicted Third Covid wave arrives?
