Worth it?!

So my preference for a Friday is to cycle or swim, or both if possible. However, again, it was raining. So with the house clean and tidy, the shopping done, I thought I'd have a nice day sewing. The dress is for a party in the summer to celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversary. No rush, but if the weather improves I'll want to be out. It a went well until the zip. Not unusual, I've never been a fan of putting zips in, even less so now. See yesterday's image.

Anyhow, one thing I can still do with a big bandage on my finger is sew, so at least my dress is done!
