Baa Baa Black Sheep

She looks like a  Black Welsh Mountain Sheep but some of the black ewes in the field have a white lamb so they're not pure that's for sure.  
Only a few ewes still pregnant. The shepherd visits at least 3 times day. I've seen his son pulling a lamb out and sticking it by the mothers nose  but have been too polite to go up with my zoom lens. 

I put the hot-cross buns in the freezer and made an orange drizzle cake with a chocolate topping.  I must stop baking - but it is Easter..............

918 deaths in hospital up to 9875. This excludes care homes and deaths at home.  Continuing arguments over not enough protective gear. UK deaths still behind Italy, Spain and France but some predict we will overtake them. 

Cumbria has the greatest  rate of coronavirus cases per head of population outside London ( 173 per 100,000). Doctors explain that by saying:- 1, it got here early (witness my tale of  30 March), 2, there is more testing than average and 3, the age of the population is higher than average.  A good reason not to come here for a sneaky holiday. Police have been going door to door checking that B&B's are not open.  One poor local nurse was self isolating in a holiday lodge to protect the rest of her family. Someone slashed her tyres thinking she was on holiday.

 Boris continues to recover outside intensive care.
