Black and Gus

Fuzzy young cows grazing at the top of the hill today. Of course we recalled the newscaster a few years ago who reported on a trailer breakdown on the DC beltway. A couple cows escaped from the trailer, and the driver had to go to great lengths to rescue Black and Gus. The newscaster's colleague pointed out that his notes might actually say Black Angus, which caused the first guy to absolutely lose it laughing. It's a great YouTube clip.

Kind of a difficult day with the kids, who are both tired of being sequestered and anxious about the world at large. I took my son for a short drive, but not sure that helped. Hope tomorrow will be more cheering.
