Good Friday

And H’s birthday.  Spent time trying to divert the flowers I’d sent her from her mother’s flat to hers.  We went for a longer walk later in the afternoon as I wasn’t so constrained by office hours and saw that the bluebells have started on the warmer banks.

We have had a bite from the US for an animation project so the writer and I swapped titles to view and enlisted family support (Tom!) to try and make sense of the animation world before our pitch next week.

Even the evening was warm and V lit the fire pit and we gazed at the pink moon.  The day after it was full but it was still impressive.  I cooked chicken in wild garlic which was absolutely delicious.   Lockdown life for us has been immeasurably helped by the weather but it’s so much tougher in London.  We FaceTimed Rory and Alice who were enjoying the sun on the roof but who were nervous of going out too much even to get food. Rory is running in the early morning but so are a lot of people. Spoke to a writer who said he was looking down on Muswell Hill Broadway and it seemed teeming.  All probably legit shopping on a non work day but in the end there is only so much space.
