Well Fed

It should be the last day of term for C, J's finished yesterday. This afternoon we should have been driving up to beautiful Eskdale in the Lakes for a week of relaxing, running, cycling, walking, and for me swimming in some of the most gorgeous wild swim spots. Sadly however we have to stay home, although thankfully we have been able to move the holiday to later in the year.


Instead we were home, J in holiday mode, and because of that C less interested in work.


On my to do today was the Christmas cake, despite not having had Easter yet, but whilst I have spare time....


It'll be a mature well fed Christmas cake by December! 


Thankfully without marzipan and icing it should still be in the cupboard at the end of the year.
