Sprung a leek

For the first time ever, I took to the roads to get to the allotment. It just doesn't feel safe on the canal and water of Leith footpath with the amount of traffic. Thankfully though, despite some right turns on very busy junctions, the lack of traffic made it a pleasant ride.

3 hours and only half the needed jobs done. All the leeks dug up to make way for the pea netting but didn't even get a start on it.

Sent some little videos to the kids and by the powers of Zoom, showed them and my sister around the allotment for the first time.

Wobbly cycle home with paniers laden with leeks. Made it up the hill without stopping! Impressed with myself as I was sure I'd be pushing it up.
