Midlife Crisis

Ummed and erred, pondered, did sums (buoyed by a few good photo sales)... oh why not... gone and bought myself an electric guitar. And rather gorgeous it is too. An Epiphone Dot in cherry, based on a Gibson ES-335 - the latter played by various people in my favourite bands - Doves, New Order, Magic Numbers, Bernard Butler, Noel Gallagher, but a cheaper version (couldn't afford the £2k+ Gibson... one day?!). I've done my research.

So it was off to Guitar Village in Farnham, Surrey, to collect the beast today. Brilliant shop - like a museum of rock! There was mine, all waiting to be collected in it's hard case. Just have to learn how to play it now! Guitar For Dummies is on it's way. Any other tips welcome.
