Macro school.
Still learning to use the macro lens and, as you can see, I've got a long way to go yet!
This is the first blossom to appear on my new crab apple tree, which I've been quite excited about, and to mark this event I thought I'd get out the new macro lens again.
What have I learnt from this photo? Don't shoot white flowers in direct sunlight! I should have realised that before I even took it as it applies to all general photography anyway; whilst the highlights aren't blown they are certainly too harsh, so, as ever, to hide my poor skills I've crushed it with filters in On1 Camera RAW again.
