Still fiddling around...

...with the macro lens. But what else are you supposed to do when you can't get far? Go close!

This is, I think, Wood Sorrel, which if it is is quite apt seeing as though I live in Mountsorrel. It is rather lovely as it carpets the woodland floor and when I walked out this morning the flowers were still quite closed but by the time I'd done the 'circuit' and faffed around taking some other photos, which didn't work as planned but gave me ideas for next time, they were opening up. 

Still a long way to go to become even vaguely competent with the macro lens but I'm enjoying trying! I think a bean bag support might be a good idea. I'll have to investigate.
